Welcome! I'm so glad you are here and want to take the opportunity to tell you a bit about me and my story. 

With my first pregnancy more than 20 years ago, I gained 80 pounds.  It was the first time in mv life I had ever been overweight.  I struggled to lose the weight I had gained and was left feeling ashamed, depressed and hopeless while trying to be a new mom.  Luckily I discovered a gym, a group fitness instructor and a personal trainer.  My life was forever changed and within 8 months, I was fitter than I had ever been in my life.  A group fitness instructor and my trainer inspired me, encouraged me and supported me while teaching me how to lose weight and think positively about myself (regardless of my weight).  Once I lost the weight, it became my mission to help other women struggling with their body image and weight loss.  

I was finishing my undergrad at the time, and decided to get a group fitness certification and switch my major to Sports Management.  I later earned a M.S. in Exercise Science and have earned many group fitness and personal training certifications throughout the last few decades. After my thyroid cancer diagnosis and thyroidectomy, I went back to school to study holistic medicine and hormone health. I am board certified with the American Association of Drugless Practitioners and with several other certification boards. I stay up to date with the latest research on exercise, women's health issues, nutrition and supplements to ensure my clients get the best coaching possible.  Also, through two decades of training women, I've recognized common underlying conditions, behaviors, beliefs and life circumstances that often hinder a woman's ability to lose weight and achieve her dream body.

As a woman living without a thyroid and living through peri-menopuase, I know what it feels like to have thyroid and other hormonal issues that impact how you feel and your weight. The symptoms are real and are frustratining. However, you can feel your best, look your best and live your best! I am here to help you do that! 

My app, programs and private coaching focus on implementing proven strategies into your individual lifestyle that will help you reach your goals with simplicity.  

As a working mom of 7 (and I am now a proud grandma), I know how chaotic life can be. I know making the time for yourself can be difficult and everyone else's needs usually come before your own.  My goal is to help you to easily implement healthier habits and movement into your daily routine without the hassle.  10-20 minutes a day is all you need to start seeing results!
